1st day in London: Hyde park, Carnaby street, Chinatown, Covent Garden, Picadilly circus

We woke up at 4 am

to let Amané drive from Angoulême to Poitiers.

Arrived at 5 am: so tiny tiny airport !!!

The flight was full,

Amané didn't feel ill...

Grey and freh arriving in London at 9 am.

 

Going by bus and metro to Paddington

Then walking around Hyde Park to find a place to eat:

we found it at the Italian square

where some birds ducks were enjoying the water.

We looked for and found Peter Pan

Well Hyde Park is so strange in beige yellow....

no more green meadows...

but still huge trees everywhere

and a little bit of squirrels.

So dry.........poor Hyde Park....

Then we walked in order to reach Carnaby street

and then we reached Chinatown:

it's a quite big subburb, full of restaurants and tourists.

until we joined Covent Garden

We didn't stay so much

but we saw some different street artists:

musicians, magicians, jongling...

and a special for Amané and Baba Hitomi:

We looked for some papeterie, stationnery,

libraries...

We visited 2 of them: so huge !!

This one is the oldest with old wooden stairs and moquette inside...!

We walked so much:

little break in our first pub!!

In St Paul church a special corner

for Pride

And Picadilly circus !

with a asahi beer commercial !

And to finish the day:

a huge fish and chips !!!

Eleonore's birthday

Out for a night

to celebrate Eleonore's birthday.

 

Moulin

The Moulin will be sold...

So so so sad....

We are helping a little Nadine 

and Amané is happy to come and help as well !

 

16 y old...!!

She's driving,

she's taking bus alone,

she's eating with her friends in the city center,

she's 16 y old !

She got some classical books,

some shirts she wanted for long time,

some red Doc Martens,

a massage,

a wonderfull drawings,

some days of holidays away from her parents,

delicious cookies,

 and some earings that all teens around her have.

Didi and 

Dada joined us for the cake,

the apero and the restaurant !

 

Yuta's exhibition

Yuta opened an exhibition at

Lieu Utile in our city.

 

2d place

Amané and her friends won the 2d place for carnaval !

They were the thieves of the Louvres

 

Missing little Doudou

This week, Amané will be the 

table tennis coach of 15 young players !

Preparing video clip about reggae

This year Amané had a lot of work by group to do.

Especially in her english european class.

With her 3 friends, they created some new lyrics 

on a reggae song, then a movie/story with it.
