to go to Japan for

one month.

Studio Madeleine, vernissage at Cleo T artists residence

Yuta often works with Cleo T a composer, 

poetess, musician, singer

 who came to live in the countryside here.

She opened a music studio which is also 

an artist residency and invited Yuta 

to exhibit some photos there. 

There was also the Danish Anja with her cut-out papers, 

and Elyas an American-Pakistani musician.

It was very nice !

Yuta did his first radio interview there.

Well done Yuta!

 

Critérium Nationale 2

First criterium in Nationale for this season... 

At the beginning I didn't really agree: 

Amané had to play 6 hours away from home... 

But the coach talked about it,

 he warned the college (she had to miss an afternoon of class)..

Amané was very, very happy

 to be away from mum and dad, 

alone with some friends from the club

 from Friday noon to Sunday night.

 She was at the hotel with Corélie and Dinaly (16 and 17 years old), 

fought well for the matches: 

she is holding up in Nationale 2

 and even won two places in the standings.

She went with her coach,

a volunteer Anthony,

7 boys and 3 girls.

First competition

First competition of the year, 

with Marcu, in doubles,

 so they play 2 singles each time and a double.

 Our two heroes finished first...in the first pool!!!!!!

 

Amané has fewer exercises to do at home this year, 

but a lot of lessons to learn. 

She always has great results!

Covid positive

And There you go !

The scratchy throat, the runny nose 

and then no energy at all. 

With Amane Covid positive.

For Amané it ended very quickly;

 for Aurèle a little longer...

Amané was a little annoyed because

 she didn't feel sick but still had to stay

at home.

She did engraving

 and we finally got to 

watch Spirited Away 

and Princess Mononoke

 

Walk in nature

We went to a new place today for a walk.

At the end, we visited an abbaye.

 

Sports

Every year, in our city, there is a big event in September

 which brings together all the associations (sports and cultural)

 to present them to the public. 

Amané went there to help her ping pong club, 

but she also took the opportunity to do rock climbing, 

tennis and badminton (the teacher wanted to recruit her!). 

She also found friends from college there, 

including 2 whom she recruited from her club.

 

First day of school: 5ème!

Amané 12 y old is going to 5ème today !!

She would have liked to go to 5 A

 with her friends Anaig and Colombe, 

but in the end she stayed in the same class: 5 C.

Some students left, others arrived (Geoffroy, Yannis, Steren from his primary school)

: the level is even higher I think.

Her schedule isn't great: 

she finishes almost every day at 5 p.m.: 

no more ping-pong after class on weekdays, 

and the piano will be Monday morning at 8 a.m.

For the teachers, she is happy: 

she has several teachers that she wanted to have.
