Phare d'Eckmülh, port de Saint Guénolé, Pointe de la Torche

We didn't meet any "bigoudins, bigourdanes"

for real...

But we meet some made by rock.

In front of Phare d'Eckmull:

it was sunny then the fog arrived, from the ocean...

and again, it was sunny:

going to the beach, we were surprised 

to go. on one full of surfers.

 

Concarneau, pointe du Cabellou

We went to Concarneau:

the fort city:

it was full of tourists....

So we went to the fishing museum:

we learned a lot about boats and fishing in the ocean.

We also had the luck to come inside a trawler.

Cabin for sleeping

We went to a restaurant

to have sea foods.

and then a "pointe"

to wander on the rocks in search of mollusks

 

BRETAGNE : Pont-Aven, Kercanic, plage de Tahiti

Pont-Aven: because of 

its colors and lights

lot of painters came here.

In Bois d'Amour, we learned that 

even Gauguin came here,

and painted these special places.

Then a little path above the river:

path of the poets.

Then reached the port,

and the big open air market.

Then we went to Kercanic:

little village.

We met the owner of this house:

"roseaux" for the roof

come from Camargue.

Tiny doors and windows

like hobbits's houses

Everywhere hortensias

Then go to "beach of Tahiti"

because of the color of sand and water.

 

7th week of holidays: BRETAGNE, FINISTÈRE
