2nd day in London: Westminster abbey, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Tower Bridge, Camden town and Regent Park

First morning with the view from our bedroom:

and then reaching Westminster abbey via Victoria station

Here it is !!

The treasure from Unesco

was first a benedictine abbey (X century)

and then from 1245 a neogothic anglican

It's huge : lots of differents buildings !

and even if we had to make a reeservation 2 months ago

the abbey is full of turists

We croosed the path of this woman

twice: Yuta found that she is the Popess of the anglicans

There are some corners:

one for dead scientists

an other for dead poets

I like this "door" opening the first "room"

on an other

There were so many many informations everywhere !!

So many statues, details...!

There we can see the first "door"

with the blue sky and stars

and the second "room"

like in Harry Potter

Name of the people who can sit here

and then a énd "door"

an other "incredible room"

with other names,

some passed away

All around there are little "rooms"

differently decorated with royal crypts.

We stayed in this first part so loooong....

a little break...

and around those arcades,

some other "rooms" all differents again...

We found a really really old comic !

What is this red stuff hanging on ?

Buckingham Palace (1700) full of tourists !!
Embarassing our teenager...

She had seen the guards moving !!

She knows what this sign is for...

and we salute Victoria !

Then a little walk in Saint James park
full of ducks, gooses, swans...

in order to reach..
can you see it?

Big Ben 1859 96 m by Benjamin Hall

and the Parliament !

an other little walk and

Yuta took pictures on the Tower Bridge 1880

and guess what???

we have seen it moving !!!!

Then waiting for a bus...

we want to go north...

Here we are !!
Camden market !!!

In this street, Amané told me,
just the 2nd day
that she is dreaming to come, one day,
with her best friends.

Along the canal, Yuta found
his favourites birds:

We walked to reach and wald all along the

Regent's park
which was full of people doing
cricket, softball, base ball, volley ball, badminton.
