Almost every day we go to see Grammy 

at Sabine's or at Dada's, 

to try to change her mind.

We have planned to move his house 

as much as possible, 

so that the workers 

can come and fix everything quickly.

 

Last ping pong training

It was the last ping-pong

 practice at the club for Amané.

We took the opportunity

 to say bye bye to Noam, 9, 

who will join the "espoir pole".

Good bye Didier

We attended Didier's retirement party 

with about thirty people.

On the menu there was 

a spit-roasted wild boar!

But on returning home, bad surprise: 

our house got robbed.......

 

99 years old

On the night of his 99th birthday, 

Grammy saw his house destroyed by a hailstorm.

Sabine and Roger went in the night to look for her.

She had mopped her floor in the dark.

They caught her to their house.

All the little city of Ribérac is damaged.

Claire and Sabine are already calling the insurance 

and the artisans who can help.

I think Grammy doesn't realize yet,

how big are the damages.

We went there with Didi, Dada, 

Yuta and Amané

to put some tarpaulin

on the furnitures.

Today in her junior high school,

 Amané received a lot of awards:

-first of the class,

-first in the ping-pong competition,

-first of college and department in English

-first in the competition about nature.

The junior high offered her many gifts, 

she went on the stage

 and she was applauded by all the people of her junior high !

Bravo Doudou, tu le mérites !!!!

 

Big Challenge

Amané get the first place of the department

for the concourse Big Challenge in English !!

Mamie de la forêt's house

 We went to Mamie de la Forêt's house.

Amané found some old books

and wanted to keep them all...!

We went to the Moulin,

in order Nadine could tell

if those books were sane.

They were all ok !!

I also took a little bench.

Farideh

 Helping Farideh

to move some big stuff 

to her place.

She'll go back to Iran for all summer

and coming back this autumn.

Preparing trip to Japan

Because of Covid,

international rules changed.

I needed to go to Paris,

to the Japan Embassy

to get a Japanese spouse visa.

Before we didn't need that...

I'll have to come back soon

to get back my passeport.

This little trip allowed me to

share a little time

 with Nico and Vincent.

Nico is an other member 

of Eric's family.

 

Grammy 99 years old

In 20 days, she'll celebrate

her 99th birthday!!!!!

We spent all day

with her,

even going to restaurant !

She's still dynamic

and has so much to share !

 

2nd place for regional English contest

Amané tried an English competition: 

she came 2nd in the region! 

Well done Doudou! 

We are too proud!

 

school trip

Amané and his class went

 to visit the site Bouchauds.

It is an archaeological site 

with a Gallo Roman

 theater and temples

 very close to Angoulême.

Some years before we went already there.

she will have other school outings

 by the end of June: 

a cinema outing, 

another theater

 and a huge day at Puy du Fou

 

Bye bye to one of our best friend, ERIC.

This day was awful...

And the days after were so hard too.

2 weeks and a half after, 

emotions are still so strong:

crying and trying to do as usual,

always thinking of him

and what he had left in each of us.

One of our best friends left us suddenly.

He was a poet, dancer, actor, musician, 

composer, manager, sculptor, mason, 

gardener, draftsman, writer etc etc...

He loved parties, wood fires, 

building with others,

 he was always looking for others.

We have often experienced

 the most intense moments 

of our lives thanks to him.

The memories are endless.

And most of all, 

he was the pillar 

of an immense family 

of strong friendship. 

He succeeded to reveal 

beautiful parts of each one of us.

He was whole and

 allowed us to become so.

He taught us fraternity, 

sharing strong emotions, 

sharing true and beautiful

 human values. 

He united us in creation, 

he taught us freedom,

 to believe in our dreams, 

to believe in ourselves.

He brought us all together 

around his utopia 

which still vibrates in each of us.

We are now all orphans

 but we vibrate even more intensely 

with love and tenderness.

We (his huge family) are all connected more than ever, 

whole and wonderful.

In the past, in the present and the future.

We'll miss him so much.

Our love and gratitude 

for Eric will never fade.

Thank you so so so much Eric.

 

Last championship with teams

9 months ago

I knew nothing about ping-pong...

And now, I know a lot more !

Also, I could meet new people:

parents of other kids, coachs, volunteers for the club.

Here are some of the parents.

I can say that 2 of them are now good new friends.

I'm glad for that.

Here are the champions less 13 years old.

With some champions less than 18 years old.

Amané played 4 simples matchs, won 3.

And played 2 doubles, and won all.

She was in the same team as usual,

with Marcu and Anael.

This team was always 2nd or 1st for each

of the 6 teams championships.

At the end of the day

Didi and Dada came to support Amané.

And our favorite team was second !

Bravo les champions !!!!
