we went at the club
where she played
and Amané did the arbitrator.

She left from Friday afternoon
and came back Sunday night.
She went 3 hours south of our city
with one of her coach,
Noam (11y old), Dinaly and Samuel (16 y old).
They were 4 players of the club
participating in table tennis Nationale 2 contest.
They stayed 2 nights at hotel.
Amané won 3 matches on 8.
Coach and other players were proud of her:
she fought well because
she played against girls
who have 15 hours of training per week
and who have been playing for 3 or 4 years.
Amané is training 5 h a week
and she started table tennis
in september...!!
She therefore remains selected
in National for next year,
while, as a mummy, I thought that returning
to regional was not a problem at all...
less far, less time........!!!!!!!!!!!!
But good job Amané !
We're all proud of you !

MAUS and Russian's war in Ukraine
There's war in Ukraine since 3 weeks now.
Russia had invaded this democratic country.
Amané knows a really few about it:
I rather like her staying
a little carefree,
preserving a little more childhood
from this hard adults world.
But today she picked up
at her junior high library
the comics MAUS...!
The comic which changed definitely
the history and meaning of comics.
The comic which tells us the horror
of the Second World War
and the extermination of the Jews.
Last week some US States
censored this 1980 comic.
Our daughter is almost 12 years old
and she is already interested in
the hard world of adults
despite I try to protect her from it... !!!!!!!!
At the same time I'm proud of
her thirst for culture,
thirst for understanding,
eager to know.

Because of 2 Japanese grand fathers
Even after a full Sunday of
playing table tennis
monday, after school,
there's the special training...
and she never wants to miss it !
We learned by Jiji Nobuya
and Baba Hitomi,
that the 2 Japanese grand fathers of Amané
played table tennis.
Her cousin Kantaro
played also.
