March 15th 2011

In the morning we went to Ozu, where we found a so nice and delicious restaurant!!! There was also a museum about the fifties in Japan... I really like those designs!! Then, we went to Uchiko. Uchiko is really beautiful, for me it's the most beautiful little town in Japan. She's really well preserved, with nature, a little river and full of real life.... Even with a grey sky she attracted me a lot! I hope I can go back there one day.... So beautiful!!

We spent the night in Nakatosa, a little city with a little harbor... Here life had stopped in the sixties...!!!! At the market we ate delicious fishes, and Ced even cooked some in a big fire place!!! After we decided to do a little bit the way of the pilgrims... There was a path, where Kookai have walked... The 2 kids enjoyed to be in the forest!! They had their lunch there... Nice time for Amané!!

This morning was difficult... After the tragedy in Northern Japan... What will we do? Travelling as if nothing had passed? Little Prince Ylan made a big trip so we must go on... The bridge made of wine tree... To cut it easily if the Heike's ennemies are following....!!! Can you see Yuta and Amané? The orange point is little Prince Ylan in Gaëlle's arms! Great job guys!!! Nice valley full of nature... The fishes of the river like the one we ate yesterday night.... The river calm down our stress.... and then the little boat in the Oboke gorge...

March 11th 2011 The horrible day...

Early morning we went to Kompirasan... It's an old temple, well known by the pilgrims to protect the people working in the sea.... We climb a lot of stairs.... To arrive to the old temple... and beautiful panorama... Then we drived from Kotohira to the Iya Valley... Arriving at the minshuku the grand-mother said to Yuta that something bad happened... In her restaurant room the television showed the awfull images of the tsunami in Northern Japan... I was really scared for my friend Aurélie and my jolie Yumi living there.... The grand-mother was really nice with us... We ate a lot and drunk her special alcool trying to go on with our lifes while people not so far have lost everything...
