Bye bye primary school

Like mum, like dad,

Amané cried so much for the last day of school.

She could talk with a lot of people who are working there

and that she appreciates all day long.

She went out in the arms 

of a teacher in her kindergarten, 

then she passed into

 the arms of her CM1 teacher, Cm2. 

It was hard for her. 

I admit that I also had a few tears ....

We offered her a beautiful present

from Jiji and Baba,

and we decided to celebrate at the restaurant !

During the week-end, 

while she was still a little depressed,

we went to a 

concert Captain Parade, 

with her friend Elona, 

and there was a party for the last bye bye 

to her friend Youna.

Take advantage

 and take care

 of all these strong 

emotions Amané !!

An other, Wonderfull appreciation

from Amané's teacher !

I'm so proud of her !

She's got everything !

Of course she's very sad to quit 

the school she went for 9 years:

teachers, and all people working there

but also the building itself.

 

Unique kid again

Youna came back to her home.

Amané could appreciate Jiji and Baba 

big presents !

And went to her bed for reading !

She missed it !

 

Some days with Youna

Youna is in CM2, too, 

but not in the same class as Amané.

She'll leave Angoulme next month.

She stayed with us at home for 5 days.

 

A week-end at the ocean to celebrate 98th Grammy's birthday !!!

 

orthodontic treatment.

 It has been several years 

since we started orthodontic treatment. 

This time it's a small device so that the canines can come out.

At the end of August there will be a bigger one.

Insects

 Nadine du Moulin

invited us to a visit with 

heritage preservation organizations. 

We therefore walked and discovered 

beautiful ecosystems 

full of small animals 

and beautiful flora.

Happy to discover museums !

Thanks to the pandemic of Covid

this summer, there will be less tourists...

So I decided to spend some days in Paris 

with Amané in order to go to:

Orsay, Louvre and Science museum...

When I had reserved all the tickets:

She planned all she wanted to see :

even the metro...

It'll be in July:

Amané had to be patient...

Didi gave his pen from his childhood to Amané:

she likes using it and ink !

 

At Didi and Dada's home

 

We were invited by Didi and Dada

to meet Gérard and Josiane.

At the end of the day

Didi tried the unicycle.

Writing with ink

As she visited a museum which took up 

the whole life of a boy from 1900

 to the end of the XXth Century, 

Amané trained to write with pen and ink.

She liked it a lot and used 

Didi's notebooks to review t

he writing of the time.
