invited us to a visit with 

heritage preservation organizations. 

We therefore walked and discovered 

beautiful ecosystems 

full of small animals 

and beautiful flora.

Happy to discover museums !

Thanks to the pandemic of Covid

this summer, there will be less tourists...

So I decided to spend some days in Paris 

with Amané in order to go to:

Orsay, Louvre and Science museum...

When I had reserved all the tickets:

She planned all she wanted to see :

even the metro...

It'll be in July:

Amané had to be patient...

Didi gave his pen from his childhood to Amané:

At Didi and Dada's home

 

We were invited by Didi and Dada

to meet Gérard and Josiane.

At the end of the day

Didi tried the unicycle.

Writing with ink

As she visited a museum which took up 

the whole life of a boy from 1900

 to the end of the XXth Century, 

Amané trained to write with pen and ink.

She liked it a lot and used 

Didi's notebooks to review t

he writing of the time.

Amane had no luck with school trips. 

Usually there is one every year at this school. 

But the new principal prevented the ski trip in CE2, then the Covid arrived.

Usually CM2s go abroad for a week ...

Eventually she went to a small museum near Poitiers. 

She loved it!

and shares all her books with Amané.

Amané called her grigris.

We don't know who is her master.

She's always in our garden.

 

Martine offered books to Amane again!

Thank you Martine!

And Celine had also offered her two small clover bulbs. 

We thought we only had two, 

but ultimately they are very numerous, 

and very tall! 

Amane has successfully planted

 and maintained it! 

She even had to repot.

 

School cross

Amané finished 3rd among the girls in cross country ... But she regrets. She explained that she did not look well when they showed the course the first time, she thought she already knew it and was discussing with her friends .... Finally towards the end of the race she realized that she could have given herself a little more to gain a better place!

There was also a throwing game with a French javelin champion. The latter noticed Amané who apparently had an innate gift for the javelin throw. She will soon be invited to the athletics club to show what she can do.

She prefers ping-pong, judo, unicycle.

I also prefer after seeing deformed bodies of female throwers.

We had lunch with Jacques, 

Nadine and their friends, 

played croquet; 

Amane played some chess with Jacques

 and also had fun with the two dogs. 

We also took a long walk in the Eaux Claires.

Didi and Dada came at home 

to celebrate the Mother's Day !

after having lunch

we went to cinema 

with Dada and Amané:

Calamity Jane,

a feminist animation, so good !

During this, Didi and Yuta 

set up Amane's new, larger studying table 

to study well in college.

Our garden being fallow, 

Didi even went 

to get his brush cutter to clean it!
