She can smile...

She can concentrate on a book...

She can grab things around her...

She can stay long time in her baby car...

She can stay long time awake in her bed...

She can imitate to sit....

She can follow with her head and eyes what she finds interesting...

But the most impressive is surely...

the bath!!!

Isn't it Dada Claire and Didi Remy?

Usually Amané doesn't sleep
so much during the day.
And this afternoon she really had to sleep
for her hears examination.

So all morning I tried to make her not sleep...
But unusually....

.....she slept so well,
even not in our arms!!!

PS: The hears examination was ok. Amané could sleep 6 minutes really quickly!! Lucky lucky!!!
And it was really interesting to see on the computer and thanks to some electrods how her brain fall asleep....!!

July 18th 2010

Today was a big but wonderfull day!

In the morning, 3 of us passed by the shrine...
We thought we could present Amané to the kamis (spirits)
in order to protect her.

And the priest said, ok, this afternoon!
It's a little jinja near our house,
dedicated to the kitsune, the fox,

nice little place with lot of trees...

After for first time Amané went to a restaurant...

near our house,
the lovely grand-mother working there
was waiting to meet Amané
and Amanné quite liked her!

Then Maki, Takako, Shoko and Yuka
came to meet Amané
and give (again!!!) some presents...

Girls girls girls....!!!

And then we went to the jinja...
After purifying our hands and mouth
we followed the priest...

Sabrina, do you recognize those dress and hat???

First the priest called the kamis by playing the taiko (tambour)
and in a song he named Amané, said her date of birth, her adress
and the name of her parents...
He shaked some papers in front of 3 of us...

and we drunk delicious sake from the shrine

Then he shaked some small bells
in front of Amané...

It was really quick,

and really "familial",

nice time!

And of course we came back with some presents
from the jinja...
Some protections for Amané
but also some saké, some biscuits, some towels, some hand held fans....!!!

Really nice day!
